We arrived at another motel that had a problem with the room, and they sent us to this Super 8. I would stay here again--quick overnight stay on the way south on hwy 395. They even had a light continental breakfast, with some yogurt, cereal and fruit--which is always my go-to on the road!

Young man that checked me in was so nice and professional. He even double checked that my room was clean. I was concerned about having a quiet room due to my early bed time. He took the time to place me in a room that would be best for me. The motel was quiet even though it was very busy. Excellent location. I plan on making this my regular motel when I travel in the future.

Great staff, and a surprisingly nice room, with an upgraded bathroom with walk-in shower. The outside is misleading. The room is much nicer than the outside indicates. Despite being completely full, it was very quiet all evening, and I slept well.

I read the Google reviews, and I was a little bit scared, but I was pleasantly surprised that this was a perfectly good, well maintained, nicely located place. It's definitely the kind of place where working folks stay - The parking lot was full when I rolled in in the evening, and it was nearly empty at about 6:30 a.m. I found it a pleasant practical no frills experience. It's located basically at the gate of the Susanville fairgrounds, so maybe sometimes of the year it's pretty raucous, but it was very fine and restful for me.

A very large and nice king bedroom. We were on the road for three weeks and found our room perfect for us and very clean. The desk service person was very helpful and pleasant.
